Mid term schedule

The schedule of Mid Term Examination is attached.

Summer term Soil Mechanics cvl211 mid-term & CA requirements

1) MTE syllabus: Units 1-3 (phase diagram, effective stress, permeability)

2) CA requirements:
Project# 1: history of soil formation (various deposits) ~ 10 page report
Project# 2: study report on clay and sand properties~ 15 page report

Each student is required to submit the reports on BOTH the projects and also give individual presentations on each. The last date for submission and presentation is July 6, 2018.

The reports are to be HAND-WRITTEN and need to emailed to Dr. Gaurav Saini (gaurav.saini@sharda.ac.in)

Project# 1: UASB: history, description, advantages and disadvantages: ~ 15 page report
Project# 2: Nutrient-pollution of rivers: Description, issues and problems related to it, methods of minimizing/treating this issue: ~ 15 page report
